For Attorneys involved in medical malpractice, nursing home, and/or personal injury litigation: non-discoverable comprehensive expert medical summaries provided by Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) on causes and ramifications of injury, standards of care, and medical/nursing-care outcomes that strengthen wrongful injury-negligence cases and help to identify any weaknesses.

Services Offered:

• Client Interviews: With strong understanding of injury/illness and standards of care in the legal setting, LNC asks the right questions to hone in and get to the heart of the matter quickly, providing fast and high-value insight into case merit before the lengthy process of medical record review has even begun. A detailed unbiased post-interview summary report will be provided to the attorney.
  
  
• Merit Review: LNC reviews medical records and all background information to assess strengths and weaknesses of a case helping the attorney determine medical merit before investing extensive time, energy, and resources into the case; the LNC’s extensive knowledge on injury, chronic disease and standards of care are an indispensable tool for the attorney who wants rapid advancement or early dismissal of a case. A detailed unbiased merit review summary report will be provided to the attorney.
  
  
• Medical Literature Review: With specialized training in evaluation of evidence based, peer reviewed primary research, along with access to the nation’s top research databases, LNC is able to support or weaken wrongful medical cases utilizing the most up-to-date and relevant research available. An unbiased detailed summary report of literature review will be provided to the attorney.
  
  
• Attend Independent Defense Medical Exams: LNC serves as client advocate by preparing your client for what to expect during the medical exam, and providing emotional support and guidance during the exam. LNC ensures proper guidelines are followed and prepares a detailed, unbiased post-exam summary report for attorney review/records. 

*** All LNC services provided during normal business hours are invoiced monthly via billable hours at a rate of $75/hr for travel time, and $145/hr for all other billable services. For emergencies that take place outside of normal business hours, “After hours” services/billings are available at rate of $250/hr including travel time.
